Let us first introduce the Business Leaders of Charlotte (BLOC) organization to you. BLOC is an alliance of local Charlotte business professionals that come together via five distinct chapters to offer support and networking opportunities for its membership. The BLOC member network helps both large and small companies located in Charlotte and the surrounding communities. In addition, BLOC provides its membership with an opportunity to make a difference through various community involvement initiatives. They are a terrific organization!

 

One of their annual community involvement programs is the annual BLOC-N-BOWL holiday bowling event. Now in its 15th year, the BLOC-N-BOWL event raises money to adopt local families in need for the holidays while also supporting one chosen non-profit beneficiary. Last year, the event raised over $32,000!

 

We are thrilled to announce that Matthew's Helping Hands has been chosen as the 2019 non-profit beneficiary for the BLOC-N-BOWL event scheduled for December 7, 2019. Thank you to BLOC for this wonderful opportunity and for their support of Matthew's Helping Hands!

 

Leading up to the big event, 25 bowling teams will solicit pledges from friends, family and colleagues that will support these two wonderful causes. And yes, Matthew's Helping Hands has a team that's ready to show off our bowling skills!
